The Missouri volleyball team lost to the ranked Michigan team Saturday night to finish second in its own Tiger Invitational tournament. The Tigers finished with a 3-1 record for the tournament and also a 3-1 record overall for the season. No. 23 Michigan won the tournament.
Missouri was dominated by Michigan, losing in three straight sets, 25-19, 25-15 and 25-22.
The Tigers were lead by Lisa Henning and Molly Kreklow, who made the all-tournament team. Kreklow finished the weekend averaging 11.00 assists per set (143 over four matches), 33 digs, four service aces and 14 kills on .667 hitting. Henning led the Tigers with 57 kills on .321 hitting. She also had five service aces and 25 digs over the four matches.
Missouri next plays Houston in the Lipscomb Invitational on Friday. The next home match is against Tennessee on Sept. 12.
