Missouri’s Lisa Henning and Molly Kreklow have been named to the preseason all-Southeastern Conference team that was announced today.
The preseason All-SEC team consists of a minimum of nine players, which are voted on by the league coaches. Ties are not broken. Kentucky, Missouri and Tennessee led all schools with two selections each. Six of the nine of the players listed were named All-SEC First or Second Team in 2011.
The Eastern Division had seven representatives named to the team while the Western Division had two selections.
The Tigers open their season with the Black & Gold scrimmage on Friday, Aug. 17 at 6 p.m. and begin the two-day Tiger Invitational tournament on Friday, Aug. 24. Conference play begins with a home game against Tennessee on Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m.
