Thousands of fans braved Sunday’s heat—and rain—to meet their favorite Mizzou football players and coach Gary Pinkel. The ninth annual Fan Day event is the opportunity for fans to briefly chat with players and have an item autographed. Posters were given out at the event and many fans brought footballs, helmets and photographs to be signed.
Mizzou’s season opens with Miami (Ohio) on Saturday, Oct. 3.

Mary and her husband, Kevin, live in St. Louis and have season tickets to the football games. They arrived about an hour early to get their place in line, second from the front.
