Mizzou defeated Colorado on the back of strong guard play at Mizzou Arena in Columbia on Saturday, February 5, 2011. Missouri guard Kim English had a stellar performance and tied for the game high in scoring with 21 points with CU guard Alec Burks. The Buffs outrebounded the Tigers 45-32, but never fully bounced back from a 16 point half-time deficit.
