DeMarre Carroll, the unquestioned leader of the team, is Anderson’s nephew. And Mike Anderson Jr., wearing No. 13 for the team.
But Carroll and Anderson both graduated, with Carroll moving on to the NBA and Anderson Jr. moving to a graduate assistant coaching role with the team. So, in the 2009-2010 season, Anderson didn’t have any family on his team for the first time since coming to Columbia.
