Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert sustained what the program has classified as a “high hip pointer” in his right hip during Missouri’s 26-0 win against Colorado last Saturday. The injury eventually forced Gabbert from the game in the second half.

Despite the injury, Gabbert is expected to play Saturday when Missouri heads south to face Texas A&M. Gabbert estimated his health at “109 percent,” and explained to reporters how the injury affected his play against Colorado and what pride he takes in his toughness:

Though Gabbert’s hip was item 1A on the media’s agenda during player availability on Monday, reporters were also curious about how Gabbert felt his team would perform in its first game outside the state of Missouri this season:
